Timing is Everything

After a very successful workshop I have had requests for another one. I am hoping to re-run the "Surviving and Thriving" workshop and also add a couple of shorter workshops- one with games to play and another on behaviour management strategies. What I would like to know, before I begin planning dates is when you would like the workshops run. So take a moment to fill in the survey on the right side of this screen or email me at thepinksupplyteacher@gmail.com to let me know when is the best time for workshops for you. So far I have stuck with Sunday afternoons as they seem to suit most people- but I am open to other times too.

In response to the requests I've had... here's what I'm thinking of doing...

Surviving and Thriving as a Supply Teacher
This is a 5 hr workshop for beginning Supply Teachers that I'm thinking of re-running (with a break for afternoon tea this time)- let me know when you want it run. I've been running them on Sunday afternoons, but let me know if other times are more convenient for you...

Let's Play
I'm hoping to run a 2 hr workshop full of games to play in and out of the classroom. As hard as I've tried to write down the instructions for the games I play- they really only make sense when you get a chance to play them. Participants would be provided with a summary of each game to make notes on and each game would be played by the group... I've been tallying up and I have about 20 games to share so far.

Oh Behave!
I am not an expert on behaviour management strategies, but I am more than willing to share my experiences on what does and doesn't work for me. I've had the opportunity to see so many great behaviour management strategies in action that I'd love to share over a 2 hr workshop.

I am thinking that the Let's Play and Oh Behave! workshops could be run on the same day, with some participants choosing to attend both workshops.

These workshops are a response to the requests I have had from you, so keep the ideas coming and I'll do my best to meet your needs.
